Getting There

Beihai Park is centrally located near the Forbidden City of Beijing, so getting there is not difficult using public transportation. Those taking the subway should use Line 4 and get off at the Ping'anli Station that is about a twenty-minute walk, or short taxi drive from Beihai Park. There are also several bus routes that stop at the Beihai Park Station that is just a short distance away from the entrance to the park. The park can get extremely crowded on weekends, so to avoid the throngs of people you should get there early in the morning.
