Iquique, Chile

There is no bad time to visit this city. It is warm year round and there is very little rain in Iquique, which makes it perfect for beach goers. The warmest months are December through March with highs around 24-25°C, and the cooler months of June through September have lows of 13-14°C.
Getting There & Around
There are a few different bus terminals in Iquique that serve many cities in Chile and Bolivia, and the local Diego Aracena International Airport serves Peru, Bolivia and Argentina.
You can walk to all the beach spots, but there are cheap micro-buses that travel to the Zofri and the town centre. Private and shared taxis are faster than the bus, and they are still affordable travel options.
