Considering it was out of session, the area was very nice. The food at the Hotel was excellent.

Very nice totel in a small village. Can get on Glacier express easily. Staff are friendly. Good choice.

THE HOTEL RECEPTIONIST GAVE A VERY WARM WELCOME (IN CLEAR ENGLISH) OFFERING A WEALTH OF FACILITIES TO BE USED AT OUR DISPOSAL. THE HOTEL IS VERY CLEAN AND HAS A MODERN EDGE TO ITS DECOR. THE RESTAURANT AND OUTDOOR EATING AREA ARE WELL WORTH A VISIT SERVING A GOOD RANGE OF SNACKS OR MEALS AT GOOD PRICES. THE BAR ALSO HAS AN EXCELLENT RANGE OF SCOTCH WHISKIES AND CIGARS, ALL AGAIN THAT ARE REASONABLY PRICED FOR THE LOCATION. AS FOR ST MORITZ, I WAS A LITTLE DISSAPOINTED AS IT WASNT QUITE AS ELABORATE AS I EXPECT, HOWEVER THE WARM WELCOME, FRIENDLY STAFF AND THE HIGH STANDARD OF THE CHESA ROSATSCH CERTAINLY MADE UP FOR MY DISSAPOINTMENT, ESPECIALLY COMPARED TO MANY OTHER HOTELS IN CENTRAL EUROPE THAT HAVE COST MORE THAN THE 80 GBP (SEPT 2006) FOR THE DOUBLE ROOM WE STAYED IN, WHICH HAVE ALSO HAD FAR FEWER FACILITIES. A FREE STEAM ROOM WITH GREAT FINISHING TOUCHES SUCH AS TOWELING ROBES AND SLIPPERS.
