Location
The Chaweng Buri Resort Samui is located in the centre of Chaweng Beach, which is the most beautiful and famous beach of Koh Samui known for its powdery white sand and emerald clear sea. Night life and shopping is just a short walking distance from the resort. Hin-Ta Hin-Yai, Hin Laad waterfall and Nathorn pier are some of the tourist attractions that are easily accessible from the hotel.

Great location on beautiful Chaweng beach. The room was fine - say around 3* standard - and only around 50m from the beach. Breakfast was acceptable but hardly needing anything extra. We went in October as the rainy season comes to an end and had excellent weather and the benefit of few crowds. Did not need to use the hotel for meals at night as Chaweng road offers so many different options. For more night life walk down the beach to the Ark bar and its neighbours or hit the many varied bars on Chaweng road. Great holiday.

The resort enjoys a fantastic location in the middle of Cheweng beach, despite of this it is still a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The breakfast buffet was nothing to write home about but I did like our room. All the rooms (apart from the 3 family size rooms) are the same size, and have the same specifications The only difference is whether you have a seaview (which isn''t that fantastic as there are about 6 rows of sun loungers occluding it). The rooms are light and airy and all have a canopied bed in them. Its a great base to explore all of Chewang Beach and I would definately recommend it to a friend.

I had booked a family suite with one double and two single beds. I did not get this and was told that no such suites existed, and that ALL were identical to the one I was given. I lated found one much larger suite, which I assume was the one I had booked. Due to this I will NOT be staying here again!!!

Too many dogs inside the hotel, especially in the breakfast area. I saw a dog leaving its rubbish in the beach near Chaweng Buri hotel. Don''t eat chicken wings in the sunbathing bed, otherwise, dogs will gather around you. <BR><BR> I will recommend this hotel to my friends, actually I already did. Interesting and relaxed to live in a chalet and mine was very close to the beach. Only 5 seconds to the beach. If you want to get a sunbathing bed in the first row, you have to get there around 7am.
