Chateau Bourbon New Orleans A Wyndham Hotel Guest Reviews
This was our first time in New Orleans and we were walking distance from EVERYTHING. If we didn't feel like walking we rode the trolley for 3.00 for the entire day or we were taken any where on a bike drawn carriage. The hotel was elegant and the bedroom and bathroom were huge! I would definately go there again.

All things considered my stay at this hotel was not good at all. I understand there was construction and renovation going on, but I wish that i would have been forewarned.

A hotel under construction should warn guests before they book! And the staff who answers the phone to give directions should be a little more patient with guests who have never been to the city before. They advertise a view of the French Quarter or the court yard, the court yard and pool, and gym was closed and the "view of the French Quarter" was looking across Iberville street at the parking garage. There was a nice letter from the manager in our room, but that didn't help us plan our trip before we got there. Never having been to New Orleans I had a wonderful time and will definitely return, but not to Chateau Bourbon!
