Nice place to visit, central in wine growing area, top class food at a reasonable price. Had a return visit because of good experience in the past.

Very good location for winery visits, and very nice grounds, but lacking a little in finishing touches, to make it a high rated Inn or Spa facility. More on the lines of a very nice Motel...

My stay at the Chardonnay Lodge was good. Facilities are a little bit tired though. Room service was a little slow, but food was nice.

I have stayed several times at the Chardonnay Lodge and find it an excellent location for visiting the local wineries. The hotel restaurant and Poplars Cafe are well presented and serve good food and wine. The accomodation is above average and the staff are both friendly and competent.
