Chandee is a pleasant little hotel in a good enough location, about 7 minutes walk to the beach (1/4 mile). We had two rooms during our stay and the second room was a family room down below the kitchen that was very comfortable and quiet except for a short time in the evening. I would not be adverse to staying there again, but generally prefer to be closer to the beach for evening walks and nice views. Chandee is close to many good restaurants, good street food vendors, and lots of stores for some casual shopping. The massage place next door is also good.

Chandee is a nice little hotel near many good places to eat, including street food and a supermarket, a medium walk to the beach (7 minutes), and offers a nice breakfast, particularly the Asian boiled rice with chicken or pork, fruit, and tea. Room 1 is, however, very noisy since it is on the busy street and close to several bars that crank out the music all night long. Otherwise, for the price ($50) in peak season, it is fine.
