Cesare Augusto Hotel Sorrento4 Stars
Via Degli Aranci 108 Tasso Square Sorrento 80067
The centre of the resort is less than ten minutes away on foot; this is where guests of the Cesare Augusto can enjoy exploring the ancient streets with their piazzas and beautiful buildings such as the Duomo and the Basilica di Sant'Antonino, or enjoying a mouth watering gelato in one of the ice cream shops.
The 120 modern rooms at the Cesare Augusto are comfortable and traditionally furnished with Amalfian tiles. Each of the en suite rooms features a balcony, satellite TV, safe, hairdryer, and mini bar.
The restaurant at the hotel is open for breakfast lunch and dinner. Breakfast is a continental buffet with a selection of meats, cheeses, pastries, cereal, and fruit.
The Cesare Augusto Hotel is well positioned for guests looking to stay in the centre of Sorrento with easy access to all the sights and the Piccola Marina, which are all within walking distance. Guests will also appreciate the pool-outdoor, roof terrace garden, library and the Cesare Bar.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. En suite facilities very basic considering that this is a four star hotel.

This hotel is great for package tourists who don't like to mix with the locals much. Personally I prefer to speak the language. But for comfort it was great and I'd recommend it. The distance from the centre of town could not be beat!

We had a wonderful time at the Cesare Augusto Hotel Sorrento and we would definately stay there again. We were made very welcome and the staff could not do enough for us.

The reason for my comment on facilities was that the Bar seemed to close very early. We did not eat in the hotel because the menu looked very uninspiring and clearly designed for elderly american taste rather than a genuine flavour of Italy. The Information you gave about the hotel suggested that it had a good reputation for International Cuisine, this is not what a well travelled English person would regard as high standard International Cuisine. The Breakfast was fine.
