Beside the fact that is a student residence, they have facilities of a good, nice, clean hotel. Reception is 24/7. Located at the centre of Madrid, walking distance to most interesting places and shopping area. Close to Metro Station. Good value for money.

It is a very nice place with real wooden floors in the rooms. The staff is extraordinarily helpful and supportive.

Cervelo Hostal is definetly the right choice if you go to Madrid to see the city and not stay in the hotel! The hostal is located right in the middle of all the things there is to see in Madrid, and the Metro is only 2 minutes walk away. So nomatter if you are going to see the sights or going to/from the airport it could not be any easier. We spent 2½ days in Madrid, and in that time we got to see almost everything and do quite a bit of shopping too, and we didnt feel like we had to rush at any time. The rooms had everything needed, they were cleaned every day, the staff was nice, friendly and the reception open 24/7, and the staff in the reception spoke english very well. There was no noice from the street at night because of how the hostel is situated, so we were able to get a good nights rest every day which was great. Best of all was that the price was lower then many of the hotels/hostels which were located much further from town.

The room was clean however the facilities aren't so good. The bathroom is tiny and a hair dryer would be useful. The location is good as it is central, however it is on a street which is very busy so it gets quite noisy.
