Location
Located in Mestre, the Centrale has a bus stop right outside that travels to the centre of Venice every ten minutes, it is also eight hundred metres from the railway station and one kilometre from the autostrada. For guests short on time the Torre Orologio and the Teatro Toniolo are close by.
Rooms
The Centrale's one hundred soundproofed guest rooms are comfortable and relaxing. Each room comes equipped with a telephone, colour TV, and en suite bathroom. Family rooms are also available.
Restaurant
Each morning the hotel serves its guests a continental buffet breakfast of cheeses, meats, pastries, fruit, juice, tea and coffee.

Breakfast included was a joke and they only try to get an upgrade for more money. Dont recommend this hotel agian

The hotel is well-situated. Trouble with its location is that there is next to no parking. They have a deal with one of the public car parks but it is like 500 m away. Close to the mall, there is free parking from 8pm till 8am ... if you can find a spot. Reception was a bit brisk but improved on second contact. The bar/restaurant next door is cheap and serves very nice food.

Good choice of hotel, if you would like to get away from crowd (lots of tourists in Venice even in low season..) for a peaceful stay. The rooms are clean and reasonable size. Only down side was the first night quadruple room they given to us was a tripple room with extra bed, which is very very small and really have limited space to move around. The hotel explained that they were fully booked and no more standard quadruple room for us, but they promised to change for us the next day and they did. The hotel staff was quite helpful and can speak english. They recommended a good restaurant nearby (wihtin walking distance) for our dinner.
