There are 3 Central hotels and one we has booked had chaged its name since we made the booking which caused some confusion. Very handy location easy walk to all the areas we wanted to see. Nice quiet rooms.

the hotl is good, the location perfect, very close to the old town. whem we arrived we were traeated awfully by an elderly woman at the reception, who did her best to respond dryly and unsympathetically. the next morning she was not there and everything changed for the better. the breakfast is excellent, so the room and the other facilities. the parking is very expensive in a near by parking house.

Pros: Great location, 5 minutes to the train/bus station and just at the start of the old town. Free internet access from 2 PCs in the lobby. Reasonable buffet breakfast. Cons: Rooms are quite small and a bit dated. It's quite expensive for what you get but Ljubljana seems to have a shortage of hotels. (However prices in cafes and restaurants are still much lower than most West European countries, so overall it's not expensive to visit and well worth the trip.)

Tiny tiny rooms were very shabby (cigarette burns in duvets), bathrooms really need to be updated, very poor shower pressure, a lot of small things like quality of loo roll (sheet dispenser of what could almost be described as grease-proof paper). No Iron etc in room (and the room RULES specify that no Ironing, washing or cooking to be done in the room), no tea/coffee making facilities. I would be pushed to clasify this as a three star hotel and not at all a four star hotel.
