this is an above average resort in kata beach, phuket. you must walk about 10 minutes to gain beach access (though the hotel offers a shuttle every hour to the beach). the rooms are semi-modern, but still have early 90's feel to them. check your bill twice before paying, as we found they improperly overcharged us by several hundred thai baht upon check-out.

Really nice hotel, friendly staff. Our second visit and was what we expected and we were not dissappointed. The rooms are spacious and the pool area is lovely. The breakfast is also very good and we look forward to returning.

Buffet spread was very good. Most of the hotel employees were very helpful & friendly, making our stay enjoyable, even when we brought our 8-9mth baby. Our little princess simply loved the attention given by the friendly staffs. However, mosquito was a killer (probably due to the weather). Fortunately we brought many anti-mosquito patches to ward off the mosquitoes & there was no m.bite on our baby. We were fortunate that there was no rain during our stay except the last nite. Even with the rain, we were entertained in our rooms with the many tv channels provided by the hotel. Overall, the rooms were spacious & comfy. One small suggestion : the hotel should place more dustbins around the premises.

Good value for money. It''s low season when I stayed there and not many rooms are occupied. The hotel has very good designed pools. And because it''s built in 2001 everything is new and maintained very well. The Junior suite I stayed is big with a big balcony overlooking the nice pool. Quiet and beautiful. With all the necessary things you need in a hotel room. Especially good for family with kids. The only bad thing is no bathtub. It could be very inconvenient to take shower with little kids. My husband tried the Spa but not special. I wanted to try but the massage lady is pregnant and she said she''ll do Thai massage for me. I noticed that she''s almost 9 months pregnant. I''m not discriminating her but I think it might not be very good for her to serve client at that time.

Value for money during the off-peak season, especially with the free upgrade to Junior Suite.
