Centara Grand Beach Resort Samui Guest Reviews
Really good beach, big territory. Seems rather expensive, but service and fascilities are good enough. Club level allows to have snacks and so on in the special club lounge during the day so it can easily substitute a meal outside. Laundry service is good, staff is friendly.

Excellent, Excellent, Amazingly Excellent is all i can say about this hotel. The location is oustanding the facilities excellent and what brought us back to this hotel for a second time was the professional efficient yet unbelievably friendly service. I hurt my knee and was on crutchesfor half our stay. The hotel provided free transport to the hospital (three trips) and the staff were genuinely concerned to the point that when my wife was walking around without me the staff always asked her how i was.............Amazing. If there is a better hotel in Thailand i would be amazed. BOOK IT! .......You will not be dissapointed. Oh there was apparently some renovations going on which we knew about before we went.........didn't even notice any noise or anything that detracted from our enjoyment, Well done CSBR

Great location and decent hotel. You have the hussle and bussle of Chaweng right on your doorstep, yet the ability to relax in a peaceful environment when needed. The allocated area of beach is clean and safe. The staff are extremely pleasant and willing to assist at all times. Stay in the 'Club Rooms' if you can afford, as the little extras, such as free internet access and afternoon 'tit-bits' add to the special time this hotel offers. Will definitely use again. Had an excellent time.

Great value for money especially for families with kids. The room is not spacious but clean. Buffet breakfast (included in the prepaid rate) is fine. Staff are very friendly. The pool and the beach are clean. The nice thing for parents is that the water of the beach is shallow so little kids can enjoy it safely. Children can also enjoy the kids club activities for free (our children enjoyed fishing in the pond of the hotel garden every day). The restaurant on the beach (Spice Island) serves good Thai food at reasonable price and the sea breeze and the sound of tide is comfortable.

The only setback would be the strange room setting (the bedroom and the bathroom are separated not by a wall but by a wooden window which should always be closed anyway unless you like to be seen) and the noisy rock music from across the street at night (this may depend on the location of the room). However, these do not change my overall evaluation.
