Centara Duangtawan Hotel Chiang Mai Guest Reviews
no real complaints with this hotel...right next to night bazaar and hotel staff were great. only shortcoming...the bathroom was a little small which made getting into/out of the shower a little difficult

We've stayed in this hotel 3 times and really like it. Hotel is very close to the night market, and is really nice for the price. Stayed at other more expensive hotels in Chiang Mai and didn't notice a significant difference in quality, cleanliness, comfort, or staff. Will continue to stay at the Centara.

Staying at this worst hotel for two nights. The front desk reception was rude to the guests, especially the on-duty manager at the time of check-in (at about 2.00p.m). He is the worst manager i encountered. In relation to the room, it was old and the pillow and bed was like more than 10 years old, smelly. Worst still there are no towel until i waited for more than one hour to delivered. The room air-cond not cold, complaint 1st day, the technician came in & unable to fix the problem On the next day complaint about the air-conditioner again, send technician again. which he needs to do a cleaning on the indoor air-cond & need more that a night. I requested to change room & the technician told me to wait for the front desk to contact me. Waited for more than an hour in my room. At the end, the answer is no. I will never go back to CENTARA Chiang Mai. My next trip Chiang Mai, I would rather stay at more costly places like Meridien or other hotels.

Large, spacious rooms at an excellent prive, right in the heart of Ciang Mai. Views are excellent, especially from the higher floors. Have now stayed here six times and will again.

I stayed here cos they were having a promo and it said 5 star..big mistake. OK I am a neat person and dirty towels for a 5 star hotels are a big NONO. The bath towels were filthy. Can't imagine using it. After numerous complains(bad attitude too), than they brought me some cleaner looking towels. Poor ventilation makes the hotel have a rancid, wet smell..the room smelt real bad. Sigh. The only saving grace was the location. I think for the price I paid I rather go back to Suriwongse (which is a much older hotel but at least it is clean).
