The Catalonia Berna Hotel is housed in one of the first four buildings to be constructed in Barcelona's Eixample district, in an eclectic classical style. The building's facade is unique for its splendid original paintings and decorations.

"A lovely hotel, the staff were very helpful and very friendly. Rooms facing outside were the better ones, the others were dark & you could see very clearly into the rooms opposite. Would definately return."

"Bigger than average rooms for Barca, you can walk to most places from here within 10 to 15 minutes and it's not as busy as right in the centre. I would stay again."

"This was a good hotel internally modern with an old facade. The rooms are of a good standard and very clean. Staff are very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast excellent - huge selection of food hot and cold. 10 -15 minute walk to Placa di Catalonia (depending on your pace). "
