Location
Castle Waikiki Hotel is situated right across the street from the Honolulu Zoo and is 20 minutes from Honolulu International Airport. A 5 minute stroll is all it takes to reach the Waikiki Aquarium or the eclectic entertainment and shopping choices found at the world-famous International Marketplace.

This hotel is at the perfect location, you can walk right down to the beach. If you like the zoo.... It's literally right across the street. We stayed in room 911, the a. Didn't cool the room off very well. I got kitchenette- there was only a microwave and refrigerator. The room didn't look anything like the pictures. But it was a very nice hotel. Hotel pool was dirty, didn't use it.

Parking fee should be reduced. Elevator from basement to first floor takes too long. We had to take the stairs to the first floor so we can get to the room faster. The staff at the check in/out counter was very helpful.

Staff is very helpful. While not 5 star hotel is very nice and is in a great location one block from the beach and within short walking distance to major Waikiki restaurants and stores.

I spent a few hours per day in the hotel (i was quite busy those days) anyway, the room was clean and the people friendly. They were renovating some rooms on my floor but almost noiselessly. The price is good. If I go back to Hawaii, I guess I will book in the same hotel.
