A bit far from JR station. No internet access in rooms. Hotel furnishings were rather outdated. But very cheap for a night's sleep.

The service was excellent, but we conversed entirely in Japanese so I can't comment on their English ability level. The rooms were small even by Japanese standards (I have stayed in several Japanese hotels). That said, I would still highly recommend this hotel/stay with them again. It is within 5-10 minute walk of Kanazawa Station, and 20-30 min walk to the Castle and Kenrokuen Park.

Great location close to Kanazawa station. friendly English speaking reception staff. Free use of hotel computer for internet use. Only Japanese TV stations. No room safe. Average sized room.M/F communal baths.
