Castle Hotel Dublin
4 out of 5

The hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance to central Dublin. You end up walking down one of the main streets so it is easy to find your way back if you are a new visitor to Dublin. The hotel has a good restaurant with a local folk band providing entertainment while were there. Cooked Irish breakfast was included and was a good way to start the day.

Centrally located to dining and shopping. Chapter one is 2 blocks away. Ask for a room in the back, will be much more quiet

the rooms can be hot, leave a window open. Ask for a room in the back as the front of the hotel can be noisy

We thoroughly enjoyed our six night stay at this very clean, quiet and delightful hotel. It is a short walk to downtown on O'Connell Street. It is also around the corner from the Writer's Museum. Breakfasts, included in the cost of the hotel, were fantastic. We could order a full Irish breakfast as well as dine from the continental buffet. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. They went out of their way to accommodate guests.

Nice helpful staff but rather an eccentric hotel with floors on many levels. We probably would not use it again

Very nice hotel. Of course, irish breakfest is not a meal my stomach can accept, but here is Ireland:). It could be better to find bigger assortment for breakfest. Excelent location, great places to relax in ground floor. Real castle, but you feel here like at home.

With the owner being on hand gave things that personal touch, staff helpful even with our extremely early check out nothing was a bother, will recommend to others and stay again when next in Dublin

This hotel needs a complete refurbishment and was very overpriced. The breakfast was good and all the staff were very helpful. One of our rooms was very small and there was a lot of street noise. The other room was average and there was noise from a nearby building site and residents in the next room who had a blazing row, when every word could be heard through the thin walls until about 3am. Hotel was a good 10 minute walk from the town centre and we all agreed we would not visit again.

The hotel staff were lovely. Whilst the room was large, it was old and did not have a full bathroom which was very disappointing. the Double bed was very uncomfortable and also short!

Nice room and in a great location to the centre of Dublin (15 min walk to Temple Bar). Excellent breakfast with a great choice from a menu. Room temperature was an issue however, being cold on the first night and very hot on the second night.

Very friendly service, great breakfast (if you have to leave before 8 am, you'll receive a continental one, even at 4 o'clock in the morning). There's one negative point: my room was to the street and it was very loud.
