A fantastic experience. It's like being at your wealthy maiden aunt's huge rambling home complete with servants and I kept expecting the game of Cluedo to commence at any moment. A peaceful step back in time - a very different view of Italy.

We loved, loved, loved the hotel! We felt like we were royalty hiding out in a private retreat! The food was wonderful, service as good as we have had, and the whole experience was a welcome retreat from the business of Venice, Florence and Siena in the earlier part of our month long trip to Europe!

Not only a stunning looking castle but also a first class hotel with an excellent customer service. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend it. It is a wonderful place to stay. The beautiful castle is situated in a great setting surrounded by trees on top of hillside. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant is excellent!
