Even though the weather in Puerto Vallarta was poor due to Hurricane Jova, the staff at CasaMagna Marriot was just the opposite. Only Disney can compare to the level of service and friendliness of the hotel staff. Even the Hurricane didn't dampen the spirits of the staff. The express check in was seamless and done outside when we arrived. No lines and no waiting. The grounds are well kept. The rooms are clean and well organized. They were professional in every manner and every department from the gift shop to the restaurants. The food was good, but at hotel prices. The location is next to the Marina where you can find alternatives to the hotel restaurants. The pool area is clean and the water temperature is perfect. It was an overall great experience even with the poor weather.

The staff was so accomodating. Never waiting on a cocktail...great restaurants- breakfast buffet was amazing- yes a little pricey but well worth it. One hour free wi-fi in the deli- be sure to ask when you get your morning coffee! The outside of the hotel is a bit dated but well maintained. The rooms have been updated- very modern and comfortable.

Relaxed on the beach after recovering from surgery. Good access to beach.
