Friendly staff happy to assist. This hotel is in a great location with expansive views of the water. Spacious living areas and comfortable balcony for reading, relaxing. We travelled with two adult children and could walk to selection of restaurants and a couple of bars 50 metres in one direction and a small group of shops including an information shop in the other direction. The La Prominade hotel is close by with a great bakery and shops plus a few restaurants. We rented a car and could have a look around. There is a water taxi 200m from the Casa del Sole hotel that takes you to "Canade" island for around $10. Well worth visiting. Not 5 star but affordable and most enjoyable.

Missed not having a hairdryer provided which I would think most desirable and almost a necessity as most other appliances supplied. One of the pillows was very lumpy and more of a ball - would have requested another but didn't need it (mentioned to staff on check out). Great large balcony with 2 recliners and outdoor table. Great having a clothes airer/drier which could be used to dry washing on balcony and beach towels. Having 2 English speaking channels (Aust) was a bonus although maybe better channels would be good. Good sized apartment.

Great view of Baie des Citrons from level 6, spacious rooms. There was 2 english channels on tv but only one was working, when we asked reception about it we were told it was not a hotel problem. The only other english channel would cut out every 10 mins. The bed was not comfortable, very lumpy pillows and a funny smell on the linen. No dishwashing liquid or washing detergent supplied, a bit pricey at the supermarket. Otherwise a good hotel for a budget, and location great.
