Casa Monica Hotel St. Augustine A Kessler Hotel Guest Reviews
Forget Marriot, Hilton, and the others, the staff, rooms, and cleaniness at Casa Monica beats them all!

Do not stay at this property. They have recently fired a long term front desk manager for wearing a small American flag pin on his lapel. He has been doing this every day for over two years and only now do they tell him to take it off?? I could understand if it was something offensive or political or religious, but this is the flag of our country! Men die everyday for our right to our freedom. Employers certainly have the right to set dress codes, but to not allow a flag pin, especially since they have set the precedent of allowing it for two years is reprehensible. Send them e-mail, call them, tell them you will not stay at any property owned by Kessler Enterprises until they restore this gentleman to his previous position.

The rooms were fantastic & the beds slept great! They had an awesome fitness center & kept it really nice. The view of the city was fun for people watching from the little sitting room area. The pool was shallow but fine. The hotel bar was 5 star. The location was perfect & parking on the street was obtainable & much cheaper than the valet for the garage. The front desk employees were cool & helpful. It was so good that we took our impromptu, 1 night getaway up to 2 nights for our first anniversary & had the best time together. It was totally romantic!
