Casa Marcello Hotel Prague is a splendid small hotel with a charming and historical character.

Location
This property enjoys a perfect location in the centre of Prague, in the Old Town and is just a few minutes stroll from Old Town Square itself. This hotel is within easy walking distance of the closest metro station, Namesti Republiky.

Rooms
The 26 rooms are well appointed and each has its own character. Some rooms are situated around a yard at the rear of the building and entrance is gained by the outdoor stairwells.

Restaurant
The restaurant is on the ground floor and is very traditional. There is little or no natural light that further adds to the romantic old world feel of the area.

General
Guests on business can utilise the conference facility that can accommodate up to 30 persons. Overall the hotel enjoys a convenient location making it convenient to tour and sight-seeing.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovation, so the sauna wasn't available. The Gym is being converted into a Wine Spa which was also unavailable. Location is only a short 5 min walk to the Old Town and is incredibly quiet at night - great for sleeping! Buffet breakfast is AMAZING with lots of variety of hot and cold. Room as a nespresso machine with a capsule costing 40p each. Didn't get to use it as I always opted for the cool coffee machine in the buffet breakfast. Room configuration was very big, booked a double room but the room had 2 separate rooms (one with bed, and one with tvlounge) and another room for the oversized bathroom. Would have preferred the tv+lounge in the bedroom so we could watch TV in bed. Staff were great and friendly, make sure you get the 30% voucher to the hotel's restaurant when u check in, my lady didn't give it to me and only remembered till later. Wifi I believe wasn't very strong, but there's a laptop in the reception area for public use. Toilets near reception are spotless too. Great locatin!

We loved this hotel and would so recommend this absolute 'oasis' of a hotel and do intend to return.

The hotel is in a wonderful position, but our allocated room had no bath and the bathroom was not luxurious as advertised. We spoke at reception who changed us the next day for a brilliant room at no extra cost which had a sitting room and two bathroom areas! No complaints at all.
