Booked this for my employer. He said that the hotel was very cozy and in close proximity to an excellent Vietnamese restaurant. We'll book here again when we return to SF.

Booked room ahead the time with one king size bed and still got 2 queen size beds. Really bad neighborhood!!! Will never visit again!!!

If you don't mind passing 2 dozen drug dealers and 6 pimps on your way back to your hotel - this is an okay stay. A little creepy but not dangerous like Kabul Afghanistan or Monterrey Mexico - then again its not the nicest part of San Francisco either.

Room was clean and comfortable and price was reasonable. Immediate area around hotel is a bit run down and lacks good eating places, but BART station is nearby to get to more interesting locations.

I booked 4 nights, the room is clean and comfortable, the design is good as well. The pricing is also attractive considering the service.

A bit noisy if your room faces the street, but overall a good experience. Average neighborhood, close to public transportation.

Stayed 2 nights in the city, location was very convenient to local buses and historic F trolley line. Reasonable walking distance to cable cars at Market and Powell, and Union Square. Market is a little dicey, would use Mission instead to get to a cross street. Room was very clean, bed and linens very very comfortable. But the best value was the on site parking for no more than $20 per night - and we got a 50% off deal. With those savings, we could indulge in cab rides if we were too tired to walk.

The hotel is very good value for money in terms of comfort, cleanliness and courtesy of the staff. It is within 5-10 minute walking distance to Market street, the BART and Union Square and a 10 minute walking distance to Moscone convention center. The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is because one needs to pass a couple of blocks that are not well lit and groups of folk that I am disinclined to name but sadly are very present on the streets of San Francisco. Walking on Howard or Mission one tends to pass these stretches more and if walking in the night it would be best to walk on Market and then down 7th.

AIRPORT ACCESS: A+ This location was excellent and less than a few blocks from the BART, so super fast location to and from the SFO Airport if you're visiting. LOCATION: A+ Lots of dining choices around within walking distance and the Custom Burger across the street does deliver, but be forewarned that the prices are insane ($10-$12 for a burger...I'll pass on that). If this is your first time in a big city, there is a strong element of those down on their luck, just politely decline and press forward, but we didn't have have much of an issue with this. Good walking distance to the Haight and to China Town! THE ROOM: A Very clean and quiet! Didn't hear the other guests and the bed and chairs were very comfortable. No problems at all with housekeeping disturbing you if you wanted more sleep. FREE WI-FI, just ask for the code at check in!!! The TV channel selection was ok and basic, Flat LCD Screen. I do wish the room had a mini fridge to keep food/drink cold, but that might be asking a bit much and could boost the rates. The did have a Jacuzzi onsite and if you wanted to go across the street to their sister location, you could use the gym and pool there. FREE Continental Breakfast as well. STAFF: A+ Very friendly and very polite! All seemed very happy to help out and were very good offering a map and directions if needed. VALUE: A+ Awesome! Will definitely recommend and check in here again on future visits. OVERALL: A+

The room is nice. It was big and the bed was very confortable. There is internet for free and that was a plus. I had to pay $20 a day for parking. There is no room service. I asked for a water in the middle of the night and the recepcion suggested me go out and walk a few blocks to get in a liquor store. That was unbelivable for a hotel. But in avarage, it was OK. If you intend just to sleep there, it´s ok. It´s not a hotel to enjoy it.. it´s just to sleep.

we thought the hotel was just great - the fact that breakfast was included was a plus. Staff were very helpful and the best thing was the shuttle bus which ran very regularly to Union Square - however, I was a bit dismayed at the area of location - street wise quite dirty and many homeless in the area. If the shuttle wasn't operating i wouldnt have been happy to walk the area at night or own my own. However we would recommend the hotel to others and would definitely use it again.
