Carlton Hotel Blanchardstown
4.6 out of 5

Smart hotel, geared towards the business traveller and ideally situated close to Dublin Airport. Room was comfortable with nice ensuite facilities. Carpet in room was badly stained, and few large knocks out of furniture (shame, it all looks very new!) - but that's me being picky and the overall impression of room was very good. I would certainly stay there again when requiring an airport hotel - for the price, this hotel is ideal.

the food in the restaurant was pricey and the food wasnt the best at all, the variety on the menu could have been a lot better in my opinion

The Hotel itself was very nice and perfect for a weekend away or for an overnight stop for the airport. It was quite difficult to find though and is not well signposted. The room itself was ideal for us and had everything we needed including an ice machine in the corridor .

Very nice hotel, but just a little out of the way for a tourist. Would stay there again however.

Large size bedroom, great bathroom but the shower was not a power shower. Quite a distance away from the city by bus but would definitely stay again and use car.

The hotel is fantastic, the design and attention to detail is very high spec. This hotel does not feel like part of a chain as such, and has the feel of a boutique hotel. Breakfast was served in a great enviroment, with a good choice of hot and cold dishes. Staff were friendly although a little abrupt security upon late return (security good then). The only downside is that it is NOT convienient for town, cabs cost 20 euros plus to town and 30-35 to and from the airport. If you have business in the area then it would most probably be more convienient. A shuttle bus to and from town is something the hotel should seriouslt consider, it could be the choice for the stylish as well as fashionistas. I would stay there again but hire a car as it would possibly be cheaper, unless you have an expense account! James Van Dykes.
