Caribbean Villas Hotel San Pedro Guest Reviews
We booked this hotel thinking we would have an open patio w/ one bedroom or loft...those were the two choices we saw. Once we got there, we got the crappiest room of all. It was a studio with hardly an ocean view as the door was recessed behind the staircase. The "oceanview" was through the glass in our door. The shower didn't look clean since it had dark grout stains, windows opened to the back area and were dirty/dusty. Wall mounted AC was not that quiet. Bed was clean though and confortable. My negative review of this place consists only of the room type that we had, otherwise it's in a good location, the staff were friendly, Tony and Luis at the bar were awesome, and it’s an easy 10 minute walk to San Pedro Town along the beach. So if you’re interested in this hotel, be sure to confirm with the hotel to NOT get room 12. The other rooms (upstairs or the opposite building) with similar plan at least had a large window next to their front door.
