Two stuffs came to the bus-stop to see me off and waited delayed bus coming together with me for half an hour. I was satisfied with their sympathy.

Stay in Hotel was good. Its centrally located near good entertainment sector, but the rooms need to be cleaner. I found cockroaches in places that would put off people.

All was good, but the coffee tea basket and bed side telephone and directory was infested with small cockraches as well as a few here and there. Was not picked up from airport as stated however did get dropped off next day. No milk for tea and coffee.

What more could you expect from a low cost stay over Hotel in Nadi. You do the sums! This budget priced accommodation includes: - complementary airport pick up service - friendly staff - huge comfortable beds - tea/coffee supplied in rooms - lovely landscaped gardens - lovely pool and spa bath - supermarket next door for your island snack, wine & beer supplies - reasonably priced drinks and meals - lovely outdoor eating and drinking area - full body massage under F$30 (F$150 in resorts) - Delightful Saturday night entertainment and Cava ceremony - Tasty 50cm pizzas next door under F$30 - no airport noise whatsoever - low cost computer/internet service - morning wake-up calls - complementary breakfast from 7am including fruit juice, fruits, cereals, toast and coffee - South Seas Ferry coach pick up out front on street. The only fault is that the rooms are a bit ordinary with poor lighting, handles coming off wardrobe doors, curtain that gets in the way of the door. The beds though are excellent, showers are hot and there is a TV in the room! If you are not too fussy this place certainly leaves a good first impression of Fiji, especially if you arrive on a Saturday! Nothing fancy but truly Fijian. We will certainly be back next time we are in Fiji.

room is very basic, you can't find any basic than this, some equipment doesn't work or doesn't look clean for example a jug for hot watter and cups they look disgusting i don't even want to touch but staff are good, friendly and helpfull. breakfast very simple, first day we've got peanut butter and jam for the toast, second day no peanut butter and third day no jam, only butter for toast. and managment doesn't care if customer happy or not (doesn't look that way anyway) but staff are very helpfull.

I have stayed several times at Capricorn Nadi, it is not up there in quality/service, but its there, its conveniently located & patronised by locals both Fijian & Indian visiting home from overseas, which gives it a different feel compared to backpackers/resorts full of westerners. So I keep coming back. The older rooms (which I rated) are getting run down but have a more private outloook during day (away from pool) & nearer to where the Fijian band plays in the evenings - love the guys voices, great atmosphere. The more expensive rooms which are lighter/cleaner (& some have nice decor) were fully booked last time I was there - so this hotel IS a popular choice, which says something.

Took over 1.5 hr to be pick up from Airport. Even after 3 Phone calls. Kettle smelt like a toilet. Water looked dirty. Staff friendly and helpful.

Went to this hotel as it was only going to be stopover before flying out. Not many had booked in so the hotel was not busy at all. Facilities were okay but we found that the king size bed(a combined one with 2 large singles) mattress sunk in the middle due to it not being rotated since being put into the room. A fairly basic hotel suitable for a quick stopover and it comes with continental breakfast.

Toilets are old and stained in some of the rooms. The first room I stayed in was hopeless but the second one was ok. Staff are great and the location perfect (once the construction next door is finished). Had no problems with internet booking and they accepted the [website] booking receipt without any questions.

As most rooms overlook the pool - is important to ensure that hotel curfew is enforced to keep noise down on warm nights. Also allow additional 20mins when booking airport shuttle as Fiji time prevails.

On the plus side, it's inexpensive, convenient to the airport, provides free taxi service to it, pool's OK, and offers a comp. continental breakfast. On the downside, the hot tub was at ambient temperature and dirty, room needed a paint job and was initially smelly (aired out OK), restaurant food was poorly prepared.

We had a leaky roof and water all over the floor. Service unfriendly except for the Fijian girl behind the bar. The food was poor. Not the best all round.

Bathrooms I found to be not up to standard with mildew and cockroaches. Bedding was confortable and clean. Service from the girls a little slow but very pleasant and helpful.
