The location of this hotel is fabulous, amazing views over the harbour and hills. The hotel is ugly from the outside but elegant if rather dated inside,everything clean and well organised. Staff lovely and helpful on whole but hardly any speak english, which was a big problem! hardly any tourist info in hotel and capo est is isolated (only 2 expensive seafood restaurants locally) so a car is essential if you dont like seafood!! (taxis expensive 15 euros to gabicce mare each way) swimming pool excellent (bar and lifeguard) and rooms, both much better than pictures on website. Access to beach via lift and quite a few steps - tricky for wheelchair/puchchair. Overall a delightful hotel but consider transport and learn some Italian before you go....
