Can't beat the location, underground nearby, Wangfujing and Tiananmen within walking distance. Service outstanding, they even left a cake in the room for one of our birthdays. Would definitely stay again.

Very impressI've hotel situated approx ten minutes walk to Tianiman Square, Forbidden City, Beijing Museum and The Temple of Heaven. Although some staff had limited Englisg overall I would put this hotel at 6 to 6 stars. Breakfast and evening buffets are good value.

The hotel is in a very convenient location with about 10 minutes walking distance to TianAnMen square and underground tube station. It offers a very good value for money.

We regret staying at this hotel, when we checked in none of the staff knew about the supposed bowling alley that was meant to be at the hotel, the night club was closed, we were charged a 15% surcharge on top of our bill at restaurant , no discount on Buffett as a paying guest of hotel... We ended up walking to the Novotel to eat which was cheaper ( the staff there even gave us discounted prices on Buffett ) and there was a lot more variety ... We wish we stayed at Novotel which was on same road as capital.

This is my second stay at this hotel. I booked it again because I had a fantastic time the first time I stayed here. First of all, the service is great, not so much for the counter staff, but the conceirge and bellboys are really helpful. Depending on whether it is summer of winter, they either stand in the scorching heat or the blistering cold just to help you get a cab. I am most impressed. The location is simply perfect. It is within walking distance to Tiananmen Square, Qianmen Bu Xing Street and Wangfujing. If you do some research online, you'll find that there are many great restaurants nearby. The food at the hotel was delicious and value-for-money. Ordered room service on a few occasions and it was delivered quickly. In summer, there are cranes and ducks in their garden and I have spent a lot of time watching them. It is so soothing. The hotel is also equipped with free wifi service in all their rooms. This is rare in many hotels in China. I feel right at home in this hotel. I will not consider any other hotel when I visit Beijing again.

Me & my wife stayd at this hotel first 3 nights in the middle of May and again 3 nights in the end of May. We could walk to Tian'man square, forbidden city and sourrounding area. Hotel staf is very helpfull with any help you need. Bell man speaks better English then attendents at other public places. We will absolutely reccomend this hotel. It has a good sized indoor pool with sauna and Gym hall which is perfect for little excercise after or before whole days sightseeing. In general it is very difficult to get vegeterian food in restaurant in China mainly due to language problems.

I reserved a standard room for 9 days. I was given a deluxe corner room on the 11th floor with a great view. It was a large room with a beautiful granite bathroom. The room was very clean and in working order.

Looks fine but not up to 5 star rating. Hard mattress as most are in China. Customer service not the best. Unable to answer some pretty basic questions. Three star service. But decent value in other ways.

It's very Westernized which is best for people who don't want a challenge. I had already stayed at another hotel on one leg of my trip that was very Chinese and was looking for more amenities. This hotel is within walking distance to most attractions and is suitable for families as well as children.

Ideally located for attractions. Good eating at tyhe hotel and in surrounding areas and across the road. Handy for public transport. The beds are hard but they are hard everywhere in China. Staff very attentive and helpful. Would certainly return if in China again.

Beautiful place to stay. Was pleased with the bed (hard/firm) as this type of bed is good for my back. Would recommend to anyone. Hotel provided tour to Great Wall guided by Wendy who was the best tour guide anyone could ask for. Highly recommend.

This hotel is located relatively near some main attractions like Tiannemen square and Forbidden City and Wongfujing. Beijing is big, so it's still a 20min walk to these places. The bell hops were very helpful in getting taxis and handling luggage. Subway stop is down the street about 3-4mins. There is the smell of smoke that permeates the entire hotel since they allow smoking in the lobby area. Nice restaurant and spa facilities. Ok gym, though there were no free weights, only treadmill machines and some universals.

Great location, 10mins walk from Tiananmen Square. Not many restaurants in the immediate vicinity but there are plenty in the Chongwenmen area which is only 10mins walk away. We had both the breakfast and the dinner buffet within the hotel and both were excellent and reasonably priced.

The hotel was great - but a bit too far from the sub way. About 10 min walk and that seems far when we have been walking all day. Also dont ride the bike-cars in front of the hotel. The prices was 10 times higher than we thought we have agreed with the driver. But overall a very nice hotel.
