Had a poor experience here. As part of a group of three families with young children attending a wedding, two of the families were unable to access their rooms on arrival. Check in was 2pm, they arrived at 1.30 and needed to prepare for the wedding that afternoon. Staff flatly refused to allow these people to access thier rooms a little early. Felt the customer service was lacking, staff very inflexible. Also very noisy rooms, very little parking and uncomofrtable bedding

Good older style hotel that, despite not been renovated in about 20 years, is very clean and friendly. Good size 1br apartment for 2 people, found it a bit tight for 4 people but had a TV in each room , very reasonable mini-bar ($2-50 for a coke!) and a good size bathroom. Also about $100 cheaper than where we usually stay in Canberra, which was booked out at the time, so very happy with hotel overall.

Car parking was limited and very small spaces. Iam glad we weren't in a room near the noisy lift, but overall it was a good place to stay.

It was quite good except: there was no light over the desk or in the centre of the room, so it was hard to work or read at the desk couldn't get internet access - this was clearly stated as a requirement for my booking couldn't turn on the TV - had to ask to discover there is an on-off switch hidden down the side of the unit found it hard to control the temperature of the room - too hot during the night breakfast delivered to room on first morning - not good But - restaurant food was very good each evening
