Location
The perfectly situated Cape Tribulation Resort & Spa is unlike any hotel in the world. This first class retreat is nestled between the extraordinary tropical underworld of the Daintree Rainforest and the sparkling turquoise of the Great Barrier Reef.
Rooms
The accommodation units have a private view into the lush undergrowth and your room is surrounded by the soothing sounds of the rainforest. Generously spacious and elegant, all rooms are stylishly furnished with luxurious appointments.
Restaurant
Enjoying views over the pool to the sands of Coconut Beach, the Cape Restaurant and Bar is a great venue for a relaxed breakfast, a lazy lunch by the pool or a sunset cocktail before a tantalising dinner. Drawing on the best of local produce, this restaurant provides modern Australian cuisine with subtle South East Asian influences.
General
Scuba diving, snorkelling, horse riding, rainforest walks and crocodile cruises are just some of the activities on offer that you can indulge in at your leisure. Adventurous guests can embark on a kayaking tour from Cape Tribulation beach while other can just languish by the pool or at the beach.

Cape Tribulation Resort & Spa Guest Reviews
This resort is lovely, but isolated and dull (the same elevator music piped through the restaurant area on repeat cycle each day). Good if you want a complete break. Easy access to the beach, but you can't get taxis into the village for meals/drinks elsewhere.

Well designed suites, however, noise from adjacent suites can spoil the rain forest tranquility.

Staff did not reach the standard of professionalism you would expect from a resort of this time. They were a bit too "lay back" in their approach to their customers, particularly in the restaurant

very comfortable and relaxing tropical getaway. the bathroom has a glsss wall direct viewing if rainforest. the pool area was very clean and relaxing. not enough shade. very pleasant staff - a bit forgetful. restaurant across the road from the resort had an adequate menu. a bit expensive for a simple but very tasty meal. Breakfast was delicous

Beautiful location, a very quiet, restful resort. Would definately return when a peaceful holiday is what we need.
