Sherwood Park has a varying climate, which sees both extremes of temperature. Summertime highs can approach 30ºC, and wintertime lows can descend to as low as -20ºC. There is precipitation throughout the year, with most of it falling in late June and early July.
Getting There & Around
You can reach Sherwood Park via several roads from Edmonton. Take the Trans-Canada Highway east and turn south on Clover Road. There is also a transit system connecting the town to Edmonton Mall and the university.
The roads and highways that pass through this town make it easy to travel by private car. There is not any public transit system to service the streets of the city. However, the small size of the place also permits walking to many locations when the weather is agreeable.
