Getting There & Around
The Vancouver Airport services the area. The skytrain monorail system that connects Vancouver to surrounding areas has stops in New Westminster and is a 30-minute ride. There are no freeways in the city; however the Queensborough, Alex Fraser, Patullo, Port Mann and Derwent Way Bridge bridges provides links to other neighbouring cities.
The Sky Train system along with a number of bus routes provides local public transportation. Walking can be challenging, as the city is hilly.
