Mont Laurier Climate

Mont Laurier has a cool climate, with temperatures in winter dropping well below freezing to an average of around -10°C; however, in summer the temperatures warm up substantially with highs of up to 25°C. Rainfall is moderate through the summer months, with an average of around 100 mm per month, but decreases in winter to around 50 mm, much of which falls as snow.

Getting There & Around

Though Mont Laurier has a small aerodrome, it’s probably easier to fly to Montreal and take a connecting coach via Mont Tremblant, a journey of around 3.5 hours. For convenience, it’s recommended you hire a car in Montreal and drive north, as this will make all surrounding areas accessible. Taxis are also available to hire for getting around the area, or hiring your own car is a convenient option.
