Campanile Hotel Manchester Guest Reviews
In general the hotel was what we expected having used Camponile in France. The only criticism we have relates to the food. In the evening we went for the 3 course, which included the hors d*oevres and dessert buffets. The starter buffet was available, but we were not told that the dessert buffet was not. My wife was happy with her main course, but the mussels I had left a bit to be desired. Most of the mussels were very small and there were quite a number of them were closed.

This would not have been my first choice for hotels in Manchester, however we booked this hotel after finding it difficult to get a decent priced hotel in the city centre. Lots of free parking spaces, reception staff pleasent and welcoming. It is a basic hotel - i.e. small rooms with adjoing bathroom with a decent enough shower. Walls are fairly thin so prepared to hear some noise. The decor and fittings look a little tired and could do with a refurb. There is a kettle with sachets of tea and coffee which you dont always expect to see at cut price hotels. You can walk into the City Centre within 15 minutes. There is a JS, McD's and KFC opposite the hotel. So overall the hotel was satisfactory for an overnight stay but don't expect modern, new decor or luxurious comfort.

I only stayed 1 nite but found it a very pleasant experience . Staying slightly out of the city centre meant free parking and internet an added bonus we walked into the centre of Manchester very easily enjoyed a lovely meal and a few drinks then got a taxi back in the wee hours ! The only downside was there was a bit of noise in the morning !!! Would def. stat again

We've stayed at this hotel before without issue, but unfortunately this time around somebody had decided that leaf blowing needed doing at 5.30am in the morning! This continued for a solid 2 hours, keeping up awake & resulting in an awful nights sleep.

We picked this hotel because it had secure free parking. It was walking distance to City Centre. Breakfast was good. Reception organised a taxi for us. Very close to Sainsbury's, TK Max, Boots and petrol station (and McDonalds). Need brighter lighting and/or desk lamp.
