A very average hotel. The doors to my balcony did not stay shut let alone lock! The lift was out of order during the morning so I had to walk up 7 floors. Not a very nice area at night especially if you are a woman on your own. Tea and coffee were provided in the room. Better places to stay.

The only problem with this hotel is the lift! One very small and slow lift for 7 floors. Significantly cheaper to book online for some reason as well.

Good location for the person who takes trains from Lyon Perrache station.

Although it wasn't next to the train station that we thought is was, Campanile is centrally located and everything is within an easy walk. If you are going to take a river cruise, the meeting place is just on the other side of the "Perrache" train station. The staff is wonderful and very helpful and fluent in English.
