Food selection limited in the buffet, mostly Sri Lankan dishes which are too spicey for Western tastes. Bacon appalling. No internet facility. Nice pool. Rooms overdue for refurb.

Stayed overnight on our way to airport. This is quite a basic hotel set on quite a nice quiet beach. Staff were friendly and food reasonably cheap. Lunch was about dinner was approx 1000 and was quite good for the money. 700 rupees and buffet The building was well worn and a bit dark and in need of updating. Would not like to spend more than one night there myself but there seemed to be quite a few German people there on packages.

We had just a two day short stay in the hotel and was an ideal location for the airport. The facilities were very good and the pool was ideal and clean. The rooms were sparce but ok. It is lokated close to several restraunts and bars. The staff were friendly and plesant. As it is also right on the beech it would be a nice place to have a longer stay holiday.

The only negative is they won't let you swim in the mornings before 9am although they have 2 pools - one always seemed to be closed. Otherwise it is a nice hotel convenient for the airport with very friendly staff

Stayed at Negombo Camelot Beach Hotel during early Feb 2005 and really enjoyed it. Very nice pool and very nice staff.
