Cambridge Hotel is set on the corner of Riley and Lower Campbell streets in Central Sydney, less than eight kilometres to Sydney International Airport. The hotel places tourists within close proximity to the famous Sydney Opera House and the diverse flora at Royal Botanic Gardens.

A friend and I recently stayed at this hotel. Great location for nightlife, shopping, and restaurants. The hotel is close to Oxford street, a very trendy and eclectic area. We had a blast and the room was perfect. This would be a great one for mardi gras!

Stayed in triple room & junior suite over 7 nights. Overall would definitely stay again. Rooms & bathrooms very comfortable, clean & stylishly decorated. Reception staff were friendly & helpful, though couldn’t always answer my questions they did eventually find out & all was sorted. Only small gripes are AC in jnr suite kept turning on, even though I kept turning it off. Laundry is expensive (TIP-bring a small container of washing powder/softener from home) & a bit of a trek to find (through car park). Annoying to have to change lifts in reception if your room is on floor above 3rd (or if your room is on 1/2/3, you can't go down in the main lifts, have to use another one). The jnr suite bathroom window didn't close so was a bit chilly in the April/Autumn mornings. Power cord on kettle in triple room not long enough to reach power socket from table or floor so had to perch it on the basin - not very safe. Would also be good to have free wifi access in all rooms (all hotels take note).

We had a very quick stay, but the service provided by the staff upon checking in and out was excellent. I had asked a few questions about destinations around Sydney and the information provided was perfect. The room that we had booked would have been great by the look of the photographs on the internet, however we were upgraded to a larger room with a larger bed and that was greatly appreciated. The bed was comfortable with a good mattress.
