Well located in the middle of the Copacabana beach front. Nice room with high ceiling and gracious public areas. Reception desk, not well-laid out or well-placed for customer service, could get a bit overwhelmed at times. I thought the charge for 24 hour internet connection (R$20 for 24 hours) was a bit steep. But paying by the minute, I found I kept being cut off!

I have stayed in over a dozen hotels in Copacabana in the past 10 years. Although the location is good and the staff is as helpful as they can be, this is no way a 1, 2, or 3 star hotel. There is urine smell in the hotel; I changed my room but it did not help. There is only one old elevator working for the whole hotel. The Internet is very intermittent and not free even in the lobby. The rooms, hallways and the hotel in general are rather outdated and dirty. I do not recommend this hotel.

The staff was very nice. Breakfast was good. The location is fabulous. The air conditioner has only the on/off set. The sink was broken. The floor on the shower area was damaged and there was a whole on the shower wall. The elevator was scary!

The hotels installations are really old and they need lots of upgrades. The Air Conditioner is really noise and It was impossible to find a power outlet in the room. I would not recommend this hotel for a business trip.

We enjoyed our stay at this budget hotel. The breakfast was nice. Excellent location and while decor and furniture is somewhat dated it was good value for money. We had a front room with balcony . Marvellous views.
