Location
Conveniently located close to Cairns International and Domestic airports, this lodge is a leisurely 20 minutes walk along the Cairns Esplanade waterfront to the city centre, beautiful botanic gardens with board walk and Tanks Gallery.
Rooms
All apartments at the lodge have spacious rooms with a private balcony and wireless broadband internet for your comfort. You can enjoy views from the lodge balconies that are a mixture of mountains and frangipani Trees, where you can also often catch the scent.
Restaurant
You will find the King's on Mc Leod, the on-site bar and restaurant, which is a very popular Cairns dining place with the locals serving great meals. A covered barbecue area with free gas is another feature you may use, when you choose to stay at the lodge.
General
The front desk takes tour bookings so that you don't have to worry about anything and advise you that which ones are best for your particular interests. Guests can have a rejuvenating dip in the saltwater pool with water fall or simply relax beneath the palm trees. The Cairns Holiday Lodge also has two internet kiosks that are available for guests use, to keep in touch with their near and dear ones as well as business.

The sink taps were falling off. The toilet and sink leaked. Which meant i had a soaking dripping bathmat and a filthy floor all the time. I had a baby. So the the bath tub was the main reason I stayed there, but the paint on the bottom of the bath was all peeling off and made it uncomfortable for my baby. The power point in the kitchenette was coming out of the wall. When I asked for some extra complimentary coffee, it was not at all appreciated by the owners. And I think that the price I paid to stay there was way over the top when I could of stayed at a 1 bedroom full kitchen and a washing machine and a dryer for $5 less. Only stayed at this motel for the bathtub. Never again.

Large room and kitchen facilities which were quite clean. Within walking distance to city centre and easy to find. Close to shops and restaurants but away from traffic or other noise. A well run establishment.

Self contained rooms could do with more updated equipment,particularly stove,it was a bit ancient. Fridge too small.Bed stability..

This place is definitely good bargain, where else could u find a place with 2 double bed??
