Location
The Cairns Plaza is 6 km from the Cairns International Airport and just 1 km to the Cairns City Centre. It is within walking distance of the Night Markets for Australian souvenirs and crafts as well as dining choices. The Reef Terminals are within a 20 minute walk, providing easy access to Great Barrier Reef tours.

Cairns Central Plaza Apartment Hotel Guest Reviews
We had booked ahead and were staying 2 nights. We asked before we had booked if there was a spa pool and pool and they said yes there is a heated spa and pool. When we got there we were disapointed to find that the spa was heated by the "sun" (in October). It was not warm at all!! I went back down to our room to have at least a bath but there was no bath plug in our room, so I had to ring room service who had to run around and find one for me. Other than that and the fact we couldn't get breakfast there because the menu they gave to us was expired?? it was ok. Great view, very clean and conviently located.

Hotel is clean as you would expect in a new property. The staff are very poor. Did not know how to smile or say hello when passing and not at all welcoming. Would not like to have raised any issues with them. Too many rules about cleaning expectations etc. will not go back.
