very good hotel with excellent facilities. as it is a large hotel with car park at rear you will need to be fairly mobile, otherwise this hotel is spot on!

Good quality town centre hotel. Rooms recently refurbished, decor contemporary and attractive. Was there for a function so great to simply go upstairs afterwards. Breakfast adequate buffet style, though I didn't explore most of the options on the menu. Fine for a short break in Dumfries.

We thought that the room was too small to be a true double. There was only space for one chair. We noticed a similar sized room containing a single bed which seemed about right. Excellent breakfast and dinner.

Lovely hotel, very welcoming staff. Only downside was we had no idea how much we were paying for our evening meal until we checked out. We were shown to a table and handed a short menu with no prices on it; I wrongly assumed that coffee was included and not an extra. It was however a lovely meal. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would stay there again.
