A very pleasant traditional hotel. Room 2 had good views across open and wooded grounds including a view of the river that virtually surrounds the hotel. Breakfast in the conservatory is a must with views over the lawns in the morning sunshine. Helpful staff and a good breakfast. Potential for walking/running/bird watching/cycling in the grounds. We would go again.
