The Cabanas Hotel Sun City, South Africa is perfect for guests looking for a relaxing time. With the entire Sun City resort facilities available, visitors can have their pick of outdoor activities including Valley of the Waves, one of the world's most spectacular aquatic theme parks. Waterworld is open for those who enjoy jet skiing and waterskiing. Lost City Golf Course features live crocodiles on the 13th hole and more wildlife is found at Pilanesberg National Park.

The Cabanas has a casual and laid-back atmosphere reinforced by its spacious foyer overlooking the Palm Terrace. Entertainment activities include gambling and shopping. Moviezone has 2 cinemas that are open everyday. Kamp Kwena Creche is a fully supervised entertainment paradise for kids.

Rooms

The hotel was good, has an amzing view in front of te lack, jet ski activties and amzing scenary you get while your having a nice breakfast meal.. the Rooms are ok close t standered so are the bathrooms.

Customer Service was poor especially from the Head Chef. On two nights the buffet was shut without notice i) one becuase of a conference booking and ii) becuase there were not enough paying customers staying at the hotel. The buffet was the only hotel owned restaurent. When asked why guests were not informed about the cosure the chef siad he had no means of communication so what did we expect. It was clear from his comments that paying guests are second priority after conference delegates which were there every other day. Ironically a note was sent to every room (when the hotel was fuller) stating there were problems with the tv connections!

The Cabanas is the cheaper of the Sun City Hotels, but provides all the facilities that are required. More suited for families as it is close to the water world and Kids Kamp Kwena.

Suitable for families (play area in the restaurant!). In and around the pool area everyone is treated to the child entertainer. Food is good. Staff courteous and helpful.
