Safe, clean, cheap - this hotel had everything I was looking for. The room I stayed in was Japanese-style: sleeping mat (very comfortable), and very small (but clean and totally functional) shower and toilet. Added bonus: the pirate-themed pub next door is staffed by an extremely friendly, English speaking couple.

Bathroom was not cleaned. The drain was choked up with hairs of the guests who have stayed before, so water did not flow out into the drain for a while. The slip on prepared in our room were also dirty. As the air in the room was not so good, we could not sleep over night. Nobody of the hotel staff stayed at the entrance front counter in the night, so we had to open the glass door entrance by hand.
