Budapest Conference Center Guest Reviews
The only suprise was that internet is only available in the lobby but not in the rooms. Swimming pool does not work. Polite and helpful staff at the reception.

The Lido was in a ''different''location for a city break. in one of the suburbs just seconds away from the River Danube. There is a mini bus service to the centre of Budapest which operates twice in the morning and twice in the evening.( 20 minutes) If you wish to use this service a tip is book the night before as spaces are limited. there is a list on reception put your name on it. Otherwise you can travel by tube and bus, interesting way to sample local like( takes about 35 minutes.) or from May to Sept you can get a Ferry from the banks of the Danube ( 30 secs from hotel) which again willl eave you i n the centre of the city There is a selection of bars and restaurants on the banks of the river wwhich serve local food at cheap prices. It was nice to escaape to a quieter location after a long days sight seeing. Breakfast in hotelis ample with good variety ( buffet style)

Many facilities that they informed about on the homepage was out of order (sauna, Wi-Fi, bubble pool, solarium). Facilities that was informed about on the homepage gave the impression that it was included in the hotel but it was not – squash, gym bowling was located at the neighbour to the hotel and hence was not included in the hotel services! Location was bad, 15 minutes from downtown was in reality by local trsp 45 min.

A family friendly business/wellness hotel that is located 100m away from the Donau riverside where lots of beergardens can be found. Do try the public ferry service which takes you to the city centre within 90 minutes and gives you an unforgettable view on Budapest. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to the city center at 10 a.m. and 12 a.m. and gets you back at 4 p.m. or 6 p.m. The swimming pool opens from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. So unfortunately swimming in the evenings after dinner is currently not possible.
