Bucuti Beach Resort & Tara Beach Suites Aruba Guest Reviews

5 out of 5

There are very few words to describe how incredible the Bucuti Tara Beach Resort was. The hotel is impeccable and the staff makes the hotel a one of a kind resort. Everyone at the hotel, from check in to check out was phenomenal. I have already booked next years vacation at the Bucuti. The staff goes way beyond to accommodate all guests. Donald, the restaurant mgr. was warm, friendly and a cut above the rest. His great attitude funneled down to everyone on his staff. Angelo on the beach was most accommodating and took meticulous care of the grounds. Best beach in Aruba. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation away from the hustle and bustle of a large crowded high rise hotel. Loved the BUCUTI !!!!!

Love the laid feel and wonderful serene setting. If you want a lot of action this isn't the place. If you want a lot of rest, relaxation and a wonderful beach, this is it.

Great from the start. Greeted with a glass of champagne at check in. Asked us if we were celebrating any particular event/time (20th anniversary) and the next day they delivered a bottle of champagne, crackers, cheese and chocolate to our room. Room: 2 very comfortable queen-sized beds, clean, fair-sized bathroom (not much hot water, but in Aruba you really don't need hot water--step outside for a minute in the sun and you will be hot). Had the "deluxe" room, well worth it for the great view and convenience to the beach. TV with all channels needed (no reason to sit and watch anyway with that beautiful beach outside your door). Small refrigerator, safe and minibar (happy hour and on-site store are cheaper though and just steps away). Location: no question the best in aruba. Wide powder-soft beach, no problems getting a chair and quiet (younger adults may prefer the "high-rise" area, which is a short bus ride away).. This hotel does not allow children, which is why we chose it (we love kids, have our own, but just wanted the quiet). Breakfast buffet included (good food, not great, but good--get the made to order omlettes rather than the scrambled eggs). Bar and restaurant are on the beach, but you are sheltered from the sun. Don't want to leave your spot on the beach (they will deliver to your chair--it was quick and staff were friendly, you must do this at least once). Tipping: many places build in a gratuity, but there really is almost zero tax so you may want to give extra tips (a few dollars go a long way so bring many 1's and 5's). US dollars taken pretty much everywhere. If you are looking for a beautiful, relaxing, quiet place this IS the place. Night life shopping and adventure are close by if needed, and you then get to come back to Bucuti for peace.

Absolutely amazing honeymoon! Most people there were on their honeymoon and were between 25-35 years old. Beach is perfect and easy easy to get palapas (wake up early to get in first row). Food at Bucuti is OK, not great - but the great part about Aruba is that there are a million great restaurants! Our 1 complaint was that the A/C in the room didnt go below 70 degrees. They are trying to be green or something. We only cared about this for sleeping.

The moment we walked into Bucuti to register the concierge and front desk staff immediately noted we were honeymooners and provided us both with a glass of champagne. We walked into our room and it was beautiful!!! It looks just like it does on the website only now they do have flat screen TVs. In addition to the flatscreens they even have TV built into the mirror in the bathroom. It is truly amazing. Every staff member encountered was delightful and friendly. That includes the front desk, the towel lady and all the restaurant staff. Everyone was so polite and went out of their way to provide you what you wanted. Another big perk about Bucuti is it's an adult's only location. It's not that we don't love children but when you are trying to enjoy a quiet, romantic, stress free honeymoon, not having kids around is a bonus :) In addition, to that Bucuti is a smaller resort with only 4 floors in the buildings so it does not have 1000s of people everywhere. However, I would suggest you get out to the beach/pool early because they did run out of towels twice. On a sidenote: do not under-estimate the pool I know the beach is breath taking and ocean view is tremendous but the pool is quiet, comfortable and sand-free :) The resort is simply amazing and the perfect place to stay if you are looking to get away.
