Browns Hotel Tavistock Guest Reviews
Our first floor room was overlooking the street and was disappointingly small. The bathroom was narrow; the over-bath shower resulted in a puddle of water on the floor each time it was used. Parking was extremely limited in the narrow courtyard. The lounge/bar looked ok but we only stayed for 1 drink as it wasn't warm enough to take our coats off. The yellow velour chairs looked a bit tired. We didn't have dinner at the hotel but the continental breakfast the next morning was a delight - good quality cereals, breads, yoghurt, and an indulgent vanilla rice pudding as well as fresh pots of tea and coffee and fresh fruit, ham, cheese etc to choose from. I'd return for the lovely breakfast!
