I am 100% possative that when I booked there wasbreakfast included, when I got to the hotel it was not, also with the tax on top it worked out dearer than going direct to the hotel or using late rooms, I will not be using yourselves or triviago again.

The hotel needs refurbishment. The carpet in the room was really old and had considerable stains. The room was clean enough. The kettle is really old and the tea is not very good at all. Of the two receptionists, one was very helpful and the other one was absolutely disinterested and unhelpful.

Very comfy bed and nice linen. Pretty grim reception area. OK hotel for a functional overnight in Nottingham. Central location.

The whole place is run down, the staff couldnt care less, reception staff are incompetent, food in the restaurant is awful, place is full of old age pensioner coach parties, noise from the street/pubs nearby goes on till 3am, like being in a zoo.

We found our stay at Britannia Hotel in the centre of Nottingham great. The location is excellent - with only a very short walk to the centre and all its amenities. We found the rooms to be basic but very comfortable and clean with nice size bathroom, hairdryer and strong shower. Tea/coffee making facilities were available (would suggest adding hot chocolate sachets also for customers who dont drink tea/coffee). A good discount is also given upon checking out for the nearby NCP car park. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to use the hotel again on our next visit.

Nice comfy clean room. No big frills but really good for the price. Impressed.

A lot cleaner and more pleasant than other reviews led me to believe, very satisfied with the stay. I can't say anything about the meals though since we didn't eat at the hotel at all.

Not overly impressed. The bed was not very comfortable and the whole room (although clean) looked tired and slightly mucky with stains on the carpet and sofa. It was also quite dark and not all of the lights worked, plus it was hot and the air conditioning did not work. Service was ok and location is excellent, however you find that you have to pay for parking (£9.50) for 24 hour.

Twenty years ago this would have been an excellent hotel. Unfortunately the bedrooms and facilities don't seem to have changed in those 20 years. The television was poor and the shower facilities even worse. Location of the hotel is excellent, just a short walk from the City Centre and Railway Station.

The room had no chair on which to sit. There was a desk, but no chair. Also, while the room had a 'trousers press' there was no iron or ironing board available.

Very central hotel, free bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch. Had booked a single room but they had run out so was upgraded to an executive double - still pretty small though and very thin duvet - but they were happy to give me a second. They let me keep my bicycle in the room which surprised me - good for keeping the bike secure but probably added to the many scuff marks already on the walls!

overall an adverage hotel. The rooms are a bit touch and go. If you get a newly refurbished room it is very nice but if you get an older one not great. It is worth asking for a free upgrade, they are quite happy to if they have room.

Poor food, indifferent service, I paid a low rate for this Hotel if I had to pay the full rate I would have been very unhappy. Not recommended

i found the hotel basic, with very limited choice of food in the evening, as the resturant only offered a buffet service. The bar in the hotel was very poor with little of any stock on the shelves or in the fridges... it did not make you want to stay too long.

The location of the hotel was fantastic with parking facilities at excellent rates right next door. Close proximity to the bars and shops etc but the overall Hotel I found to be quite shabby. The room was small and old fashioned although the bathroom was nice and modern! for the price I would stop there again IF the travel lodge was booked!
