Britannia Hampstead Hotel London

Nothing fancy about this hotel, but it is well priced for London and in a great quiet neighborhood.

I stayed in a room with no window. It was stuffy and the only ventilation was a small hole with an extractor fan in the bathroom. I don't know how they got planning permission to receive guests in that place -- you wouldn't keep chicken there!

An average hotel at best. Rooms are dated and not overly clean. Stains on the fringes of sheets, walls under the desk. Toilet seemed to need priming before it flushed. Inexplicably, there is no housekeeping after 3pm. Great location however for small cafes/restraurants

Real a bad deal for the money, staff was unhelpful and surly except for the first woman at the reception when I checked in, she did find me a non smoking room which was ready, otherwise the staff didnt care and nothing got done when requested, no service whatsoever and staff behaved as guests were more of an pain than anything else. Noisy room too!

Very old rooms and furniture. Definately a no frills hotel. Close to Camden and average priceing.

The hotel had an unkempt feel and generally seemed run down- dirty windows facing the street, curtains askew facing the street etc. Reception staff seemed disinterested. Room was adequate but very old fashioned with floral everything )totally unmatched) and a tv that someone seemed to have wheeled in from a front room somewhere! Heating turned off at mignight - what happens if you need to work after that? My colleague was freezing all night although I was ok. Breakfast was nice - a fair amount of choice, and the prince was right so perhaps I expect too much for 3 star?? If there had been another hotel in the area we would have moved.

Appallingly uncomfortable bed with visible springs and definite sag!! Room size good, furnishings old and cheap looking, no double glazing?? Breakfast adequate but not great - lacking service and table clearing. Very good price but would not be tempted to use again.

This Hotel was good value for money but has seen better days. A major refurb is needed. The "superior room" I stayed in was only on a parr with a normal room in other 3-4 star Hotels I have stayed in. Location is good for getting into Central London. The neerest underground station is only 5 - 10 min walk

A very nice hotel - our rooms on the fourth floor had balconies with great views of the city. Nice location with primrose hill, belsize park and chalk farm all easily accessable on foot. Very good value, would definitely return.
